Insika Lodge was fabulous! As the first staff there told us: “welcome to your new home”, we felt like home during 5 nights. We came for a wedding and we absolutely lived everything of the stay. The room was amazing, I slept so well.
All the staff were always nice and arranging towards us!

Situated in Victoria Falls, 4 km from Victoria Falls and 2 km from The Big Tree at Victoria Falls, Drift Inn features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with an outdoor swimming pool.
The lodge offers a terrace.
Based on positive reviews received by Drift Inn, I booked myself in for a three day stay. Everything I had read was true, from the thatched roof and well-tended gardens to the superior customer service, my experience was delightful. From the time I arrived, I was given personalized attention in a warm, welcoming manner. My reception, provided by Maxwell, was smooth. He introduced me to the facility in great detail. His demeanor is friendly, and he has a big, heartfelt smile.
My room, #7 Congo, was a standard double room great for solo travelers. Crisp sheets covered the comfortable bed, and in the bath a rainfall shower in a rustic setting along with standard amenities and crisp white towels. The bed is surrounded with netting, but I did not need it. However, do not be deceived, there are mosquitos. I must have been in the low bite season.
Amelia, who works with Maxwell for reception and requests, assisted me during the day with reservations and taxi requests. She is very friendly and greets you with a lilting voice of happiness. All of the staff assisted with making me feel welcome.
Speaking of taxis, this facility is not in town, and regardless of what Google Maps may instruct you, it is not walkable. You are very near to game reserves, and there are animals such as baboons, elephants, mongoose amongst many wandering around…especially after dark. The staff will warn you. Just use a taxi!
A few tips:
1. There are no eating facilities here. However, a made-to-order English breakfast is served along with cereals and juices in the morning. For any other meal, your hosts are happy to order food for delivery.
2. There is no television or phone in the room. This is not an issue with me as I don’t travel to exotic areas to watch television and with the great internet, I was able to listen to podcasts and make calls.
3. The room had a variety of plugs. I found one for American, British as well as type N for South Africa.

Breakfast is available, and includes continental, Full English/Irish and American options. At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving African and European cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options can also be requested. This hotel was great value, and we were allowed to enjoy all the facilities of the Shongwe Oasis, next door hotel, as well. Respecting the location being a national park, they follow some of sustainable and renewable energy practices, reducing waste and und using solar energy. Whoever designed this place was very thoughtful. You call tell that they paid attention to details. Spacious rooms, big bathroom with extra sink space, and both a tub and a shower. You don't struggle to find a place for all your daily routine products and kits. Dedicated workspace is decently sized too. The power outlet had the smart world traveller adapter. We loved the designs, especially the use of patterns and mosaic. Great colors too. The hotel restaurant was pretty good. During our 6 night stay, we didn't feel the need to find food elsewhere because the hotel food was that good (and we just wanted to relax and stop planning too). Breakfast was included. Lunch and dinner are fairly priced. The staff was extra friendly and helpful. What you see in photos is very accurate. You can enjoy the view of the Milky Way from the lookout tower at night. Would definitely book again if the road takes me back to Zimbabwe

Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls River Lodge is situated within the North East area of the Zambezi National Park, 13 km from the majestic Victoria Falls. Surrounded by lush flora, the lodge offers scenic views of the Zambezi River. My stay at Victoria Falls River Lodge – Zambezi Crescent was absolutely incredible. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was outstanding, and the staff truly made the experience unforgettable. Everyone—from the chef to the grounds staff—was warm, welcoming, and dedicated to ensuring a top-tier experience. The rooms have a beautiful rustic exterior while offering modern comfort inside. The property itself is stunning, and I found it worth every penny. My tour guide, Mike, was hospitable and thoughtful, making every excursion even more enjoyable. The woman who handled laundry and ironing went above and beyond—her attention to detail was truly appreciated. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to add more lighting around the property, but that’s a minor note in an otherwise flawless stay. I would absolutely return and highly recommend this lodge—10/10! A fantastic experience all around.

Beautiful location, great bar and restaurant. The day spa was wonderful. The lodges were great for a family. Very relaxing stay and staff were very attentive.
Great location next to the safari lodge where you can have a lovely lunch with beautiful views and watch the vulture feeding.
Very nice and big rooms with everything you would expect and more. I particularly liked the Nespresso machine and the free minibar. Spectacular views from the restaurant's / lodges deck, also the complimentary sundowner is a plus and so is the pool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This place exceeded my expectations, would definitely stay there again.
Everything. The place is really peaceful with only 4 lodges, the lodges have everything you need, Millie and the team are so nice and helpful, we really did not have to think about anything there. It also doesn’t hurt that it is right on the game reserve and you wake up to zebras, impalas and baboons!
Loved the lodges. Clean, well equipped and ideal. Great to be able to use the resort facilities
I am a return visitor to Vic Falls & Lokuthula with my family and like the privacy & the option of access to all the facilities at the VF Safari Lodge. The option to self cater can help keep costs down, and allows for more home time relaxing in nature at the chalet The complementary courtesy bus to/from VF is key, and frequency is adequate
Lodge accommodated our party of 7 people. Close to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, whose facilities were available to us. Kitchen was well equipped making self catering an option. Lots of wildlife around the lodge
The location is great, the lodges are amazing full of nature and wildlifenear everything/ a taxi ride away
Charming lodges in beautiful surroundings visited by a variety of wildlife everyday. Food at the hotel was excellent and reasonably priced.
Lokuthula lodge is a beautiful place to stay, being surrounded by nature, wildlife made it all a full experience. Lodges were spacious, staff very friendly and professional
