Breakfast was extraordinary. Practically a private luxury buffet, which is insanely diverse and high quality, with nice enterior, view and service. I have never had such an exclusive experience, though I am very critical and had been to quite a few places and have written a bunch of rather rude critics. The mansion is absolutely demandingly romantic with lake view, private lake floating platform, relaxing facility and private pier, all in all a dream tale.

We had a great stay at the Boutiquehotel. The apartment looks just like the photos and offers everything we needed. The selling point for us was obviously the terrace and being at the private beach right in front of our apartment, the view of the lake and the surrounding hills. I also enjoyed being able to take their SUP and just go for a paddle around the lake. Overall, an amazing stay, 10/10 would come back, Velden is also quite nicer in person than we initially anticipated.

A Perfect Alpine Escape – 100% Hassle-Free! Our stay at the Chaletdorf was nothing short of exceptional. From the very first enquiry, the communication was fast, friendly, and professional. Every question we had was answered promptly and in detail — truly five-star service even before arrival! The accommodation itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the spacious terrace offered breathtaking views — perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The online check-in process was incredibly convenient and saved us time upon arrival. We also appreciated that the city tax could be paid directly by card when the host visited — no paperwork or extra steps. The practical door code system was a thoughtful touch, especially for families or groups — no stress about losing keys! Location-wise, it’s a dream: nestled between serene lakes and majestic mountains, with endless possibilities for activities in all weather. Even on rainy days, we enjoyed visits to a nearby citrus garden, local mine tours, an animal park, and a relaxing spa. Simply put, this Chaletdorf is a perfect escape from the everyday. The host and apartment were both wonderful. It was very clean, modern and cozy. The kitchenette was equipped to cook in (all the pans, kitchenware,toster,coffemaker) and the host provided coffee, tea, milk, juice, beer. We also had a welcome gift - two granola bars, two apples and their homemade salad dressing. Bathroom is spacious and very clean. The location is perfect, we were going skiing in Gerlitzen and it was 15 min car ride from the Gerlitzen Cable Car. The host was helpful and provided the details about local restaurants, bakery and grocery stores and also other activities in the region.

I used to stay here often before I bought a house in the area, so I knew what to expect. The single rooms are small but adequate with a small minibar. The breakfast choice is excellent. The staff greeted me like a returning friend though it is over a decade since I was last there. The location is superb, bang in the centre. I have said the neighbourhood was quiet because the weather was bad and there were few people about on my visit. Normally it is thrumming with life.
