It was an absolutely wonderful stay. The reserva is beautiful, surrounded by nature and close to the magical Valle de Cocorá. The staff was so friendly and I really felt taken care of. A big breakfast that was very delicious. They really had tought about a lot of details that really make you feel good, feels like an absolute luxury in a real countryside place. I also ate dinner for three nights, the fish in garlic sauce was especially delicious and one of the best plates I ate in Colombia. Sandra and Jeny are great cooks and very sweet people. Don Diego is really a great host and makes you feel very welcome. It was easy to move around with the taxis, that the people at reserva will kindly order for you when needed. They even helped me get a service for washing my clothes after getting all muddy in the nature! It was also a safe area, felt comfortable moving around as a woman travelling alone. I really couldn't recommend enough staying here, it was absolute peace during 5 days and I hope to go back one day.

This place is perfect. Beautiful view from the room in a beautiful green area 6 minutes to Salento by foot. The rooms are beautiful and clean with a daily room service. The breakfast location had a stunning view and it was prepared by the owner himself, perfect for vegetarians. Good coffee, scrambled eggs and delicious homemade jam. Further, it is really quite, not a lot of people. The owner was really friendly, gave good tips and he speaks several languages. Be aware that it can get quite cold and rainy in Salento. There are additional blankets in the room.

Excellent hotel and location close to Salento and Valle de Cócora. We stayed two nights and had a great time. The hotel is an old finca with very nice accommodations and very charming house. Staff is beyond helpful and kind—special thanks to Sebastian, who’s such a caring, capable and fun guy, who btw speaks fluent English and explained us everything in great detail and answered all of our questions. Food is very good and affordable. Lots of friendly animals! Cute cats, a lovely dog, lots of cows and some horses. The room is elatively small but cozy and has a small fridge, stacked with various drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). There’s a small space heater that’s really useful during the chilly nights. Valle de Cocora is only a few km away. Incredibly calm, relaxing and quiet place. We wish there were a few more shelves or a chest of drawers to put clothes on/in, though, as well as a hanger or something to dry the towels there. Coffee & tea available all day long. Many different activities are offered, e.g. horseback riding, hiking, etc. Sebastian arranged for as a horses with a guide in the same day we came and I recommend that way of seeing the countryside and the waterfall. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! Can’t recommend enough.
