The beach nearby is perfect for surfing. Place is quiet, being in a rather remote area - the plus side is that food prices nearby are really low. For reference, a very high quality chocolate milkshake from a nearby restaurant costed me less than 1 Singapore dollar, which is ridiculously cheap. Surfing lessons are provided for beginners. The gardens are beautiful to roam around and the units themselves are very comfortable. We had breakfast brought to our balconies every morning and the location of the property was incredibly convenient with the main surf break immediately out front. It was beach side and enjoyable to watch the surfers. The rooms were amazing, large and clean and we loved the wood. The gardens were beautiful and we liked the fish, cats and the chickens! The pool area was very chilled too. The staff at the location were so friendly and helpful but we must give a special mention to the owner who went over and above to give us guidance about our onward travel and even booked our luxurious bus for us.
