I can only praise this hotel. Besides the amazing facilities, comfortable bed in which I slept like a baby, it is the kindness and hospitality of the staff which makes this hotel so special. We spent our honeymoon in Bali and we didn’t expect such an incredible welcome after a very long trip. All together we spent 8 nights here. The food was incredible and we took the Cooking class (do not miss it!!!) which was such a delight by the pool!! We cooked 3 local dishes with Chef Bentar who is behind all the incredible food of their restaurant, Peggy, Surtika and Wayan were super kind taking photos from us, and explaining more about Balinese culture. The reception is exceptionally kind as well but all their staff including the room service. The location was excellent for us as we love to do yoga and there is an incredible yoga centre a minute away called Alchemy. We are very grateful and we will be back!! Om swastiastu and the smiling staff whenever we arrived back to the hotel will forever be imprinted in my heart.

They spoiled us with so much kindness and care, from the peaceful breakfasts to the special little gestures for my partner’s birthday…something we’ll never forget. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with what really matters. We even started our 2 AM hike to Mount Batur from here, and coming back to the stillness of the resort and the smiles of the staff was just what we needed. If you’re looking for a place with soul—honest, intimate, and full of Balinese charm—this is it. We’d come back a thousand times over. Huge thanks to all the legends we met at Rumah Kayu. Sabana was one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Their service was exceptional, they truly treated us like we were the only ones there (despite having a full house). They offer so many great services like free afternoon snacks and a super convenient free shuttle service to the city centre. Location wise, it's super if you wanna stay in the of ubud. They even give you this cute bedtime story every night with interesting facts about local treasures. We truly feel like this hotel deserves a bigger shout out than just this review.

    This is an exceptional hotel - one of the best 5 stars we have ever stayed in. It is located in the heart of Ubud so great location for bars and shops, but then you come back to an oasis of calmness and luxury. The staff are wonderful- every single person we met was so friendly and helpful. The hotel pick up was great - nice air con vehicle. They even took us on to our next hotel in Seminyak! Overall an amazing hotel.

    Every single thing was beyond amazing at unagi suites, staff are the best thing about this place, pool is peaceful and luxurious.. afternoon tea everyday up at the skybar is a great way to unwind in the arvo. Food and drinks were lovely. The chef is a friendly guy who is welcoming. Even lucky enough to get a massage at the Spa which was lovely - great service from Ande and Deni. Everything, location, vibe, staff and facilities is 100% perfection.
