We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and the stay was great! The room was amazing, we enjoyed the spa, had a very tasty dinner with complimentary prosecco, biked around the lake and got a history tour of the castle! The staff were all great. Special shout out to the maintenance guy that repaired our buzzing door with limited onsite materials on a Sunday.

Irene was the perfect host, very warm welcome, excellent tips for things to do in the area. Breakfast was very nice and also flexibel. From a classic irish breakfast to porridge with fresh berries - Irene made it happen! The rooms are quite spacious and super clean too. Ours had lovely mountain views and an ensuite bathroom, with fluffy towels. The location is perfect for day trips in the donegal area, like Slieve League (definitely would recommend the boat trip around the cliffs - 25€ well spent, especially on a sunny day) or Glenveagh Castle. We are looking forward to coming back someday - thank you for the wonderful stay Irene!

House was exceptionally clean.Had every facility you would need for an enjoyable holiday.The house is a little remote so you can relax surrounded by nature yet only miles outside Donegal town.A good base for seeing around Areas in Donegal and so comfortable to relax in the evenings.

    - Irene is a wonderful host who provided top quality hospitality, a warm presence and recommendations of what to do in the area and was conscious of the weather if it was appropriate to see the attractions i.e waterfalls, beaches, Slieve League etc. She also recommended great places for food and pubs - Central location - On-site free car park - Comfortable room - Full Irish breakfast was delicious with a view of the mountains through the window - Walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants

    My 4th time to stay at the Atlantic Lodge and it never disappoints. Superb rooms, superb facilities and great location. All of my stays have been for 1 night so hopefully my next visit will be for 2.
