We wanna thank you for the lovely experience of your ryokan. The energy of Mr. Receptionist and "Aoi miko"-san made the whole stay very comfortable and simply amazing. Very artistic feel and first time experiencing living in a museum. It really gave a WOW feeling when we post the pictures in our social media. Very near to the morning markets and old street. The host gave us a very detailed explanation on the property history and the do and don’t.

We had a wonderful, timeless experience with this lovely family. The father and his daughters are adorable and very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. A truly unique experience during our trip that I highly recommend.

Very very spacious, with a dedicated “camping themed” room where the whole family can watch movies on projector screen (even has popcorn machine!!!). Staff are generous with their smiles and breakfast was awesome. 5 stars rating from everyone in my family, no doubt.

Very good hotel with a large room for Japanese standards The room had a small kitchen with a single electric pit to cook on, and the frigide came with complementary drinks and spices. The bath is pretty big as well. Staff was very friendly and accomodating and the breakfast was good with a chef grilling chicken skewers and making pancakes.

although the room itself was very simple (as advertised) these monks really know what they are doing in terms of what matters in accommodation. Towels were thick, luxurious and impeccably white. Shampoos etc, and shared living room architecture were of top quality. Also proper coffee bags in the kitchen instead of jars of instant!. and nice that they could give restaurant recommendations, and are open enough to let foreign tourists share their prayer service. it was a lovely traditional cultural experience.
