Since arrival in Hoedspruit Airport and pick-up by Kapama staff we were blown away by the quality of service. The Kapama pivate game reserve itself is hard to describe, the nature, it's smells and sounds are another dimension. The co-existence of animals and people, the respect from rangers towards flora nad fauna within the reserve - it makes you rethink your way of living. Kapama River Lodge is one of the best resorts we've ever stayed. Number one is the people, who are working there, number two is the quality of food served in restaurant and the rooms are large, beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. Our tracker Fanie and driver-guide Happiness made the 4 ride's unforgettable. They were not only professional and friendly, but they shared their knowledge, interesting facts and stories about flora and fauna in Kruger. They were not only chasing the Big 5, but did so much more. We can't wait to return someday, thank You!

Exceptional service in an exceptional location. once you’ve done a safari in a private reserve you will never look back, and this is the best lodge in the best reserve. Made to feel very special, all the staff knew our names from the moment we arrived. Game drives all stunning, good fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. already plotting our return, and this time we will bring friends and family to share it with. What can I see about this perfect place. First, the house is amazing and decorated with taste. You will enjoy the confort of your own house with a full service ! And then the staff : incredible. A lovely, vibrant, and gorgeous boutique hotel. The rooms were very clean, spacious, beautiful decor with wonderful quality linen and furniture! The pool was refreshing on a hot summers day, and was so inviting. The duty managers were very welcoming and helpful in booking activities for us in and around Hoedspruit. The hotel is very central, and is within close proximity to excellent restaurants, as well as many private game reserves with options of Morning and evening safaris of which the hotel will arrange and book on your behalf. There are also many other activities to do within and around Hoedspruit. Would definitely recommend, and can't wait for our return! Thank you Khiwane, and your lovely team. Lastly, our breakfast included in our stay at the Harvest House Restaraunt was divine! 10/10, with many options.

It is truly the most beautiful accommodation we have ever been to (and we are regular booking.com customers). The decor and style of the owner is sublime. Everything is perfect down to the last detail. The accommodation is equipped with everything you think you need. Super clean. A great chef who makes you a 5-star breakfast every morning. Very reasonable drink prices with the honest bar principle, write down what you used. The location is central and very safe. Wildlife in the backyard. Indeed, you never want to leave here. Caroline is the good heart from Safari moon. without her it wouldn’t be the same. thanks for your amazing job. the lodge is very detailed decorated. you find in very corner some special things. it looks so amazing. next to the pool is a amarula tree located. therefore you will see a lot of animals next to the pool. our stay was Awesome. breakfast and lunch was very nice.

We liked the special location! The place is cozy and warm! The staff was helpful and nice! Fabian the owner of the lodge gave us great advices and all the time make sure that everything is amazing. Great food. We loved the outside areas.
