The hotel and rooms were very tidy and clean. It is a very suitable hotel for those who want to feel the ambiance of St Lucia. We cannot pass without mentioning the hotel manager Roanda, who showed us both support and smile during the hotel check-in process, our travel plans in St Lucia and Hluhluwe regions and the whole process until the hotel check-out. We loved everything! You basically have your bedroom and bathroom, and then a beautiful shared area consisting of a kitchen, butler's kitchen, living room and toilet where you can cook or just relax. Outside is a terrace, a pool, an outdoor kitchen and fireplace area for those warmer nights. The room was well-outfitted with a coffee station, a mini-fridge, and of course a comfortable bed! The bathroom had everything you need, and even more! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, the only missing things were some herbs and spices, including salt and pepper. The staff were friendly and the owner, Marion, provided a lovely welcome! The location is superb, just a quick drive away from the main road!

Our stay in Leopard Tree Lodge was a highlight of our trip to SA. Located in St Lucia it provided a perfect base for exploring the area. It was very comfortable and we were very warmly welcomed and looked after by Jean and the rest of the staff. We intend to return and would definitely recommend.

Elephant Coast Guesthouse is a beautifully maintained and charming place to stay, perfectly located in St Lucia. 🗺️✨ The guesthouse is run by a super friendly Dutch-speaking host who gave us a warm welcome 🤗 and lots of helpful info about local activities, recommended restaurants, and things to do in the area. 🍽️🚤🦁 Our room was incredibly spacious, with a large bathroom including both a bath 🛁 and a shower 🚿. We also had a lovely balcony overlooking the swimming pool – the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. 🌅🏊 🎉 A special surprise: our room was beautifully decorated for our birthday, which made the experience extra festive and personal! 🎈🎁 What made our stay even more relaxed: the host planned all our activities for us – from game drives to boat tours – so we didn’t have to worry about anything. 📆📝 We just paid for everything at check-out, super easy and stress-free! 💳👌 We didn’t get to try the breakfast 🍳 because we had early game drives both mornings (where breakfast was included), but judging by the rest of the service, it must be fantastic too! And oh yes – thank you for the brilliant tip to drive around town at night in search of hippos… because guess what? We saw one! 🦛🚗
