Our Comfort room could be used together with the one next door, if you were travelling as a family. There was an outer door that kept any noise level from the corridor to a minimum. Breakfast was substantial and the restaurant was well used by both guests and non guests. Very attentive staff in the restaurant. A genuinely friendly and professional gentleman called Weil was on hand at check in and check out making us feel everyone in the hotel were keen for us to have a memorable stay. The car parking, private spa for an hour and the ski equipment hire all included in the cost of our stay were amazing

Very nice location. This conference building is great for car lovers, with 3 floors fully packed with oldtimers, F1 race cars and other exotics. Coming into the entrance hall of the hotel is already spectacular as you walk past some race cars straight to a Ferrari F40. In the basement is a +40 meter aquarium. The hotel and rooms itself is in a modern design and well maintained. Breakfast was really good.

Historisches Alpinhotel Grimsel Hospiz in Grimsel Hospiz features 4-star accommodation with a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The accommodation provides room service, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. Location. It is great. I visited in beginning of October and it was easy to get there by public transport during that time (it might be different when snow covers the mountain pass). Tickets for some of the local cable cars were included and for some other ones I got a discount (I've used free cable cars only as I've stayed for one day and there was only that much I could visit). I would really encourage to walk around the lake that is down from the hotel as it is beautiful and the view from the dam is also great! Breakfast was very nice as well. One thing to keep in mind - hotel is high up (1900-2000 meters) and if you are not used to mountain hotels, you might have worse sleep quality, not because of the beds or something, but because air is thinner up there and your body need to adjust to that.

Free WiFi is available in all areas. I very much enjoy staying in the serviced apartments. You get all the perks of being a hotel guest (access to equipment storage and the wellness center--free), but the independence of being able to cook your own meals if you were so inclined. We typically cooked breakfast in the apartment, ate lunch on the mountain, and 50/50 cooked dinner or went out for it. The family that owns the hotel/grounds is very involved and very friendly. So far, no request has been unmet. I also love that they have a van that will take you to and from the train station and the First ski lift. The bus also stops in front. It really is a great property!

The attention to detail was remarkable—everything was just right. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the bathroom spotless, and the overall experience was refined without being over the top. We absolutely loved our stay!
