This 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. The hotel also provides free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Everything! It was a sanctuary for me. Clean, well-maintained, nicely designed room and space (the room was also very spacious — I could even lay out a yoga mat and practice everyday with more than enough space to walk around it). There’s a self-contained kitchen if you wanna cook. Also the owners and staff are fab — very friendly and helpful :) Close to restaurants and shops. It’s a short 2-3min walk to the main street and a big supermarket right there… and you can walk to the beach in about 10mins or less. If you’re feeling lazy, there are about 4 restaurants at your doorstep. As a solo female traveler, I also felt really safe. Would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Tamarindo!

This was our last stop on our three week trip through Costa Rica and ended up being our favorite place. La quebrada lodge is just beautiful and the huge pool in the middle is awesome. Everyone is so welcoming and rooms are large and super clean. We ended up ordering breakfast from Maria every morning which was very tasty and plentiful.

The sunset view and golden hour left us speechless. The Kintri area is created in the way you can truly relax and forget about the rest of the word. Delicious menu, fresh products- that’s made us happy. And big THANK YOU to the staff (Ana, Andrea, Chris, Jerikson, Jimmy and the rest) who made our stay better, more fulfilled. That was a pleasure!

Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, etc. Excellent beach, clean rooms, and a fantastic, friendly, and attentive hotel team!

The two bedroom apartments are situated on the ground floor in front of the pool, with a dining patio, while the one-bedroom apartments are on the second floor with a dining balcony overlooking the pool area. The property is so central to the main area. There is a fabulous pool area with an ice machine and great amenities. The room is a perfect size and very comfy beds. The staff were so lovely. My phones and purse were stolen and they did their absolute best to help me and even offered to stay another night free of charge to help in the situation I found myself in.
