The breakfast location was great, with a view of the Kanchanjunga. (Unfortunately, it was fogged in and not visible during our stay). The food had a great variety and they menu varied every day. Plus, they made fresh dosas and omlettes. The dinners were also excellent, varied menu during our four-day stay. We would particularly like to recognize the staff, who were ever helpful and polite. Divya and Pem deserve special mention. At our dinners, Divya was sweet and attentive to our every need and comfort. Pem was similarly very attentive to our needs, particularly, Kadha in the mornings as I had developed a cold. All in all, an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend the Taj Guras.

The location was great, outside of the hustle and bustle of Gangtok but easy to get in by taxi. There was a really interesting temple on the top as well! The staff were so helpful and friendly and looked after us very well indeed. The food was delicious and freshly cooked. A very memorable experience. Comfortable, very clean and spacious.
