Our stay was in early December and I can’t thank their staff enough. They were so friendly and nice, helped us to get the taxi and being extremely helpful for everything. We are so touched by the services. The room and everything were nice. There was a private Onsen you can use for free once during the stay. The breakfast was good too with Aso milk. We really enjoyed the stay and will definitely recommend this!

AYCE dinner and breakfast buffets - including 9 types of unlimited sake and shochu! Quality and offerings of food were great. The place also has 2 onsens with mountain / caldera views which were so peaceful in the morning! And another one with an outdoor space. Finally, I loved the Showa era retro vibes.

This hotel was the highlight of our travel. Special cultural experience of ryokan + onsen. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. Yes, a bit expensive, but you will remember it your whole life. A must during the stay in Japay

Staff service was over any expectations, they informed me about the transport situation before I got there and helped me arranging my trip back. The tea in the rooms comes from their fields and is so good. The facility has an old history and is well maintained and beautiful, no need to even mention the onsen inside.. Absolutely gorgeous place: a small cabin in the woods, very comfy and spacious, with a lovely indoor bath. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the dinner was abundant and excellent (the shabu-shabu beef was amazing), as well as the breakfast. We had a really lovely stay and would have loved to stay more!!
