The private Onsen is excellent, very relaxing: you do not want to quit! There are free juice and beer for every customer, anytime of the day! The rooms are bigger than the Japanese standard, and are suitable for families with children or a group of friends (4). We have not had the opportunity to have diner or lunch, but the breakfast, which is a set, is excellent. They came at the train station to pick up you.

The owner was very friendly and offered us rides to the station/tourist spots and even a convenience store. We spent quite some time chatting about how the hotel came about (it’s her vision of how southern France feels like). The room is spacious, tidy and neat.

Hanafubuki was an exceptional experience. The rooms are spacious, the onsen experiences were wonderful and the food that was included really pushed us to try something new. The staff is fantastic, we especially want to highlight the lovely lady who checked us in, the team at breakfast and dinner, and the gentleman that helped us with our taxi.

We loved everything about the property. The layout of the house, the furniture, the onsen, the bedrooms, everything was extremely relaxing. We loved the location. We loved that we were able to view the sunrise over the ocean from the bedroom balcony. Being so close to nature and fun activities was also a plus. The property was gorgeous and luxurious, but with a down to earth, natural vibe.
