Big hotel with great facilities. A bit far from the city, but perfect location if your destination is nearby. My trip was to watch a sport game in Ookini Arena, there was a shuttle bus from Sakurajima station which is right in front of the hotel, so it was very convenient. There’s 2 convenient store nearby, the hotel also has cafe, bar, and restaurants that I visited multiple times. The breakfast and dinner buffet was great, and the bar was quiet and comfortable. There’s also Universal Citywalk one station away, which has a lot of stores and restaurants. There’s a free ferry nearby to take you to aquarium and other attractions. Hotel staff are lovely and there are staff that can help you if you have questions about transportation and other itineraries. There’s an onsen, a gym, and coin laundry in the hotel which all I used during my stay.

This hotel is fantastic and I didn't want to leave. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. We arrived before checkin and the staff took our luggage and cleaned it before storing it. So we could go out to have lunch and when we came back to our room the luggage was already there. The staff was always helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The Onsen on the top floor was great and always in a good condition. They even had the sauna heated to almost 100°C (which is rare). The outdoor bathtubs were very comfortable. The hotel has nice little services such as free ice cream or a manga library. So it is also very child-friendly. The breakfast is Japanese style, but a bit on the expensive side (around 2400 Yen). However you get a lot of choices (including sashimi, tempura, soups, etc). So I would argue it is worth the price. Would book this hotel again!

The esthetic was wonderful, You take your shoes off when you arrive, and walk on the tatami mats. They provide a set of pjs you can switch into. And if the size is wrong, they can exchange rhem in the reception. The room was clean, great, big and spacious. The breakfast was so amazing. The onsen was nice, the womens onsen is very crowded in the evening between 9pm and 12 pm (maybe even later), just be aware of that. Tattoos are NOT allowed. Even small ones. There are free icecream and free ramen in the evening. The staff was very friendly. And the location is very close to the station.
