Not to mention the exceptional accessibility options should the guest be differently abled - 2 very wide elevators, appropriately sloped ground, no bumps going through the rooms.

This resort is amazing! The different pools are very hot and comfortable and the atmosphere is so relaxing... The view from the restaurant is amazing and the japanese breakfast very good (miso soup was incredible! Gnum!!!). And in the evening you can join the other guests for free ramen (gnum!)

Very well maintained property, although we can the tell the property is aged, the effort and hard work to maintain the house is very impressive

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were great and very informative about the location and transport options etc. An absolute must stay if you are near the area. The food was incredible for breakfast and dinner, very traditional and gorgeous meat. The private baths are the best we went in, the fact they are private is a massive plus. We had the best time here; thank you to all the staff! It is also really close to the bus station to get to the Kamikochi Valley.

With an open-air bath, the 3-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a shared bathroom. The ryokan features mountain views and a picnic area. When we arrived we were met by the lovely owner who showed us around the place. I don't know if they had a cancellation, but we got upgraded to our own little hut separated from the main house, with private bathroom, living room and upstairs bedroom. They have two outdoor private onsens with breathtaking views of the mountains. We had their dinner and breakfast option and it was absolutely supreme!

Free WiFi and free private parking is available on site. My stay at Mozumo was a dream—a very relaxing experience. The private onsen in the room made everything very special. The room was big and comfortable. I would strongly recommend the dinner and breakfast experience. A shuttle picked us up from the bus station, which was helpful after a long trip.
