Perfect stay with Thanasi, true Albanian hospitality. The restaurant and house are brand new and very clean. The power was out when we arrived due to a thunderstorm, but this didn’t matter at all, we had a delicious dinner prepared by cantle light, and some really nice chats. The bed was so comfy!

We have read the reviews on this page, but the beauty of the place, the emotions that you feel when you are here, surrounded by these beautiful people, cannot be described with words. Absolutely loved it! The hotel is super calm and relaxing, perfect for a getaway. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. There were also some great activities available. Highly recommend!

This spot is incredible. The rooms felt modern and had everything we needed for a short stay. The staff was very friendly. We had lunch and breakfast here and very much enjoyed ourselves. We were even sad we didn't have our dinner there too. The location initially seemed far from the castle and old town but there is a shortcut. It is a steep 8mins walk to get to the castle but doable.

the Hotel Gjirokaster is in the perfect location to the bazaar area, restaurants and close to the historic castle. the staff were amazing and very helpful. our room was lovely and had a view facing the bazaar area. there is a nice clean pool and lounging area. It was a much needed rest day for us.
