The house is truly charming, built in wood with large bay windows offering breathtaking views of the magnificent mountains. You immediately feel connected to the surrounding nature. A big thank you to the whole family for their warm welcome: to Artyom’s father, who drove us up in his 4x4, giving us an amazing experience on those winding roads, always with good humor and a smile; and to Artyom and his wife for the delicious dinner and the wonderful visit to Smbataberd. Very friendly and very generous host. I really had a feeling that somebody takes care of me. The rooms are nice, the common bathroom and the kitchen are spacious and equipped with everything one might need. The place is close to the trailhead to the monastery / castle.

In general, perfectly designed. In my bathroom there was a wall with stones that were covered with green plant (moss?) which looked extremely fresh and made it feel even more close to nature (oops, didn’t take a pic). Breakfast and dinner were amazing, all fresh and tasty. If you go to Yeghegis specifically for animal watching and birdwatching, ask the host to give the tips and maybe even help early morning 6am - they are all in the big rock in front of the hotel area. Was great for my guests - they complained that we didn’t stay there for more nights 😅

Location is great with excellent views over the mountains. The pool was a good refresher after a long and dusty day. Nice restaurant and good breakfast.

Quiet large room. Very friendly host Samvel met us. He cooked a great breakfast every morning. Upon arrival, the host treated us to a welcome drink and fruit. Samvel gave us many useful tips for continuing our journey. We stayed here for two days. Highly recommended!
