So relaxing, tucked away with views of the lovely forth river and surrounding rural landscape. Being warmed by the outside fire whilst watching the sunset sky change hues was a wonderful start to the weekend. A very comfy bed, and I loved the choice of an inside bathroom or outside toilet with a view! A beautiful walk down the country lane to the famous forth pub, so convenient!

My experience at this hotel was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with a genuine and warm kindness. Location, Location, Location. This property is in a beautiful position right beside a river with wonderful views. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with everything. There is even a FREE washer and dryer for the guests to use. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful and are very nice people. What else can I say except if you go to Ulverstone stay at the River Edge Holiday Apartments you can’t go wrong.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The home is beautifully presented — spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. It really felt like a home away from home from the moment we walked in. The views from the property are absolutely stunning — waking up to the scenic landscape each morning was so relaxing. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. The house had everything we needed and more. The amenities were plentiful and well-considered, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy blankets and quality toiletries. It was especially great for families — there were lots of toys and books to keep the kids entertained, plus a high chair, which made mealtimes so much easier. Location-wise, it’s in a great spot — peaceful and quiet, but still very close to local shops and nearby towns, so we never felt far from anything we needed. Overall, it’s a truly special place. We’d absolutely love to come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway

Beautifully renovated three storey home from the 1880’s. we really appreciated the supply of breakfast food so we didn’t need to rush out to a shop in the morning There are restaurants just up the street and a grocery store if needed, walking distance Highly recommend sitting on the porch with a cup of tea watching the boats leave the harbour
