The hosts, Marc and Katty, were very easy to communicate with for our travels. Very warm welcome and greetings when we arrived. Gave us a tour of the house and showed us where everything was located. Asked if we had questions about anything and if everything was ok for us. Showed us their amazing garden and where we could lounge outside in the very private and cozy outdoor space. Just absolutely amazing people and amazing place to stay. There is a fridge full of drinks. Both soft drinks and good Belgium beer. Even a bottle of wine. Marc explained the different beers to us. Had a very nice sleep in a very clean and comfortable bed. Just very well kept. Beautiful!!! Marc did all the building himself and was very passionate about his work. Very impressive Craftsmanship. I can't tell you one bad thing about this place. Will be back again to visit. The delicious breakfast. Fresh!!! Homemade bread, homemade yogurt, homemade granola, fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee. Fruits, cheese , meat's. Farm fresh eggs from their chicken. A wonderful place and an exceptional person running Maison Blanche. Although the place is outside the center of Gent, it has only advantages. Maison Blanche is a place for people who value peace and comfort. Very clean. Each - the smallest detail refined. A beautifully prepared table, porcelain, coffee and tea. The breakfasts were varied and made of very good products. It's a beautiful place. I recommend it and we will definitely return to Maison Blanche

Such a mesmerizing place! We had no choice but to postpone our check out time, since we just couldn’t leave as we wanted to explore more and more of their hidden gems! Originally, we were just looking for a place to stay for the night after a long exhausting drive, and couldn’t even expect such a great experience, as it turned out to be when we arrived - the vibe, atmosphere, the hospitality, such an impressive interiors, yet along with modern facilities and all the comfort of it. The garden is beyond words, really wish to come back soon. My best wishes to the hosts, and also, once again, thank you so much for welcoming us with our late night last minute booking!

We traveled by car and due to a technical fault, we arrived at dawn the next day instead of the evening arrival time. The Host was extremely tolerant and empathetic with me and my deeply tired Colleagues. The extremely comfortable bed and the delicious breakfast helped us a lot to regenerate after a few hours of sleep. A very pleasant place, I recommend it to all travelers!
