While the price was a little high compared to other places of this standard, you cannot beat it for its location and the serenity of the environment that it is situated within. The staff are great and do their best to make sure that you have what you need and when you need it. The views from the room, if it isn't foggy, are simply stunning and time seems to stand still when you are staying there. Stan kindly provided us with transport to and from the Great Wall and this helped to set up a wonderful day for us.

Hospitality and the room. Its a family run guesthouse, they help you buying the tickets for the great wall, they drive you up there. Dinner and breakfast was delicious, for sure chinese. They have a espresso machine, which I really appreciate😃

We stayed in the family room, which was gorgeous with a hanging bed, hot tub and projector. There was a terrace with views of the Great Wall. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, even driving my family to the Great Wall entrance.

Everything was just perfect. Good evening meal and local fine breakfast. Location near the great wall is excellent. It is a rather quieter area compared to the nearby valley leading to the main wall section in Mutianyu. The wall here is also wild though accessible which is really great. Views are everywhere and not damaged by "modern" life. We went when it was already cold outside but the temperature in the small hotel was perfect and so cosy and welcoming with a lounge with an open fire where you can watch a film on a giant screen!
