Darvin is very welcoming at hotel and its one of the best settings on the island - we had a wander round and compared. If you want a relaxing stay on Isla grande then this is the place. Most of the others are big hotels playing house music all day or the location is not as good. The food here is great and the activities are very fun, snorkeling just Infront of the hotel suited us as there are plenty of fish to see

Everything!!! Our stay at the hotel was worth every minute, from the boat ride from the dock to our return. We came as a family with 2 small children and we all loved it. The hotel is beautiful with a lovely new pool which the children loved and great views. Our room was clean and very spacious. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was great. We were going to go to an all inclusive and decided to go to Aura instead. I'm soooooo glad we did this.

Hotel Playa Scondida Barú is a rustic-style lodge on Baru Island, 1 hour from Cartagena by motorboat.

The place is a luxury of calm and nature. Lucrecia and Sergio are a treasure and what makes the place so special. I have not found another place where they take care of you so good!!!. They feel like family. We had the place almost to ourselves and enjoyed the birds, swimming between mangroves and being spoiled big time between pina coladas, lulo juice and nice food!. I hope we will come back. We were all happy, happy!. My daughter enjoyed every single moment of it. They organize everything you need for you. My family will carry Lucrecia and Sergio and this nice little corner of the world in our heart.

The rooms are rustic with a balcony and a view of the ocean and steps to the waves. The hosts are a lovely family with 2 young children. Our children enjoyed playing with their kids and animals. The entire family was very welcoming and kind. It is located in a quieter area of the beach and it is very peaceful when visitors leave in the late afternoon and early morning.
