Zámek Křtiny was home and a place of shelter to my mother and her school mates during WW II - a lot more basic back then! So returning to this place after 80 years was fraught with memories for her, but we so much appreciate the understanding and amicableness of the staff in the present-day hotel (and special thanks go to Tereza). Yet even without this background, the hotel (at just 20 km from Brno) would make a very pleasant base to explore the Moravian Karst with its many caves and wooded hills – a perfect autumn getaway. The large pilgrimage church that adjoins the hotel and the pretty gardens are additional attractions. The hotel is tastefully furnished throughout (bedrooms, restaurant, conference rooms) and all rooms were spotlessly clean and well heated. Great views from the terrace. We also enjoyed two excellent dinners in the hotel's restaurant.

The hotel was beyond our expectations!!!. Starting with the location ,spot on,beautiful,quite rural areas,The hotel staff was really helpful and friendly. Kitchen cuisine was delicious, overall highly recommended place for family stay. Things worth mentioning inside the hotel Kras are a swimming pool ,hot tub and jacuzzi, and also play room with darts, PlayStation and more, so plenty things to do. If we plan to go in this area again, we will definitely stay in this place again. .

We enjoyed our 2-night stay with kids in the cottage. Interior is cosy, brand new, and spotless clean. The kitchen is equipped for small cooking, and the coffee machine is a great advantage. The view from the balcony is very calming with plenty of bird sounds. The garden and front yard are well-maintened. The parking spot is just in front of the property. There is a nice cafe with an outdoor terrace just steps away. They are open in the afternoon.
