Beautiful view, peace and quiet near Achern. Kind host, helpful in everything. He also helped me charge the electric car. Close to the Black Forest National Park with its beautiful nature, the Rhine, Strasbourg all very close. The accommodation is very comfortable, spacious, a family can fit in it very comfortably. The kitchen is also large.

    The newly refurbished bedrooms look amazing, and the design is excellent. We particularly liked the light behind the headboard. It was lovely to have a balcony. Free parking is a bonus. The highlight is the quality of the staff. The owner, Sabine, always makes us so welcome. Her daughter on reception when we left was very friendly. The waiting staff in the restaurant were very good, especially the young man who spoke very good English. We hope to return for our 4th visit next year.

    Secure bike parking in dedicated room in basement (with entry ramp). Room 2 with outdoor terrace had good in-room amenities; no coffee maker but mini-bar fridge and safe. Updated bathroom was very nice. Excellent restaurant on-site for supper. Good breakfast.

    Our room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet. The lady owner is friendly and has a great sense of humour. The food and service were great. We look forward to our fourth visit next year. Free parking is a bonus.
