The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There is a cafe next door which is part of the hotel where you can get coffee, drinks and light meals. The food there was very good as was the breakfast.

Our priority was to feel safe when we went out during the day and in the evening in Riobamba which we found at Casa de Marmol. Irma the hostess speaks English. Hearty breakfast, hot water, very clean room with beautiful furniture, sheets are so soft that we asked Irma where she got the sheets. . If you want to have your dinner at Casa de Marmol, Irma will order what you want to eat and you can use her dining room. If you are looking for a place in Riobamba that will offer you security hearty lunch and cozy bed, you will not find better than the Casa de Marmol. Very friendly and helpful staff, we felt very welcome from check in. The rooms are very comfortable and we had a room with a wonderful view of Chimborazo. As others have said there is some noise from the road but nothing at all that disturbed our sleep. There are some very nice common areas for guests to spend time in. And we were told that we were welcome to make use of the kitchen. It is in a good location next to the historical centre. There is also a market 2 minutes away where you can buy traditional Ecuadorian plates for very good prices.
