This hostel is run by a family, and they are incredibly kind. The host checked in with me personally daily, even with a significant language barrier (unfortunately my Spanish is not great). The bed and pillows were comfortable. Each shared room had lockers with a lock provided. Access to the property was very easy, and there was plenty of parking. The location was pretty central to a lot of sites around Cantabria and Basque Country, so even though i had to drive a lot it felt better than moving hostels every day.

    The Staff were very helpful, especially when we asked to move rooms. We didn't attend the spa nor breakfast. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Room Service was a bonus for the evening. The beds were comfortable and slept very well. Underground Parking was an advantage.

    We chose this this due to the closeness of Santander port. The facilities at the hotel, electric car charger, safe parking under the hotel, very spacious and pleasant rooms. The most impressive thing we enjoyed was the breakfast. Wow this was exceptional! Having travelled through Spain many times, staying in various hotels, this was by far the best for us. I had missed my healthy breakfasts, and got everything and more here. If you don't want healthy, usual fried, pastries etc is available too! The selection was just fantastic.
