Hello everyone!! If you are planning on going to Faroe Island any time soon, I must recommend this host. I've been camping here for a week, and everything simply went super fine. Even thou the weather was not always exceptional. Christian is a very attentive and welcoming host. He was super available for any questions and suggestions about where to go, what to visit and eat. I didn't know when I booked, but in general he can also provide you a car which is going to be way cheaper than the rental at the airport. I really suggest considering this option because honestly, I spent half of the holidays budget on the car from the rental. In general, the atmosphere is very comfortable and easy going. The camping area is in front of the ocean and it's possible to enjoy a really nice view every morning but mind the wind!

We had a lovely stay at Giljanes hostel. Everyone was helpful and the hostel was spotlessly clean! I especially liked the large kitchen/lounge. Would recommend it to anyone!

Mainly, I loved the serenity and the solitude of the location. The property was finished to a very high standard, including decoration and comfort and the underfloor heating. Swimming in the sea each morning, and then returning to this toasty cabin was pure heaven. A rare find!

This lovingly remodeled boat house was even better than we could have imagined. It was cozy and warm during the cool May evenings and mornings, the view of the fjord (and of Hósvík itself) was breathtaking, and everything inside was spotless. What a privilege to get to stay here and take in the everyday life of locals (a preschool came by to the beach one morning, and one evening we saw the rowing club take a boat out into the ocean). Gunnbjørn was a great host and very communicative both before and during our stay. If we return to the Faroe Islands, we'll certainly stay here again.

    Lovely place in a small village near the airport. The house is well equipped and the owners even let us check in a bit earlier. Lots of essentials, such as salt, pepper, oil, coffee and many others were provided. Free parking right in front of the house. We stayed there for 1 night on a rainy day in July 2024 and really enjoyed it.

    Great place, close to the airport, lots of space, bedroom located at the back which helps with the light at night :) All we needed was there, nice decoration, comfy bed, nice kitchen, parking place. Highly recommended!

    Excellent contact regarding self in check in and all things related to apartment and our stay. Good location, very close to two shops. Equipped with all things needed for our week stay. Nice view from the window (we stayed in number 1) Parking just in the from of entrance. Comfortable beds.

    Beautiful old house - we wanted to stay in a "Turf house" and I'm glad we found this one. Very good location. Hosts were very responsive and answered all messages quickly. Loved having the space to sort out our luggage pre flight home. The layout of the living area is excellent - spacious and open plan. Easy parking at the side of the house. I loved hearing the gentle church chimes in the evening from the church literally opposite the house - they seem to stop at 9pm.

    It is the best place to stay in Faroe. Just 8 km from airport and 10 from port to Mykines ferry it has a free parking at 100m, ATM just in front, a Fuel station at 300m and a supermarket just 1km far. From the same city the hiking to Slave Rock starts and War Memorial is there. The apt comes with all facilities, including a dish washmachine. I am very happy I did not choose the capital for our base

    You got own little apartment for reasonable price - that is the main pro. It's close to the airport and to the hike "lake above sea". Free parking and wifi included. Also basic equipment for cooking and eating, including little oven. Basic shower gel is also available. The owner answers quickly on the phone.
