I cannot describe how good this place is. If you are traveling south or on the Canal de Bourgogne you must stay here. It is superb.

We had a great stay. Everything was just perfect. The location is quiet and well situated. perfect both for a stopover and for a longer stay. Claude is very warm, welcoming and genuinely cares about his guests. He has five rooms and two spacious apartments that are ideal for families. Everything is super clean, well looked after and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade yogurt from Claude. You can tell it’s made with love. There’s a large, secure private parking area on the property, which makes things really easy whether you’re staying a night or a week. WWe’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommendedw.

Very quaint cottage, perfect for two people, might be suited better for the older clientele. Murielle was very kind and left us with essentials and treats. Easy check in and out.

The apartment was absolutely brilliant, really clean, comfortable, and beautifully equipped, the bed is the most comfortable iv ever slept in! Tonnerre is a gem, a diamond in the rough. It has stunning views and the Fosse Dionne (A Hydro vent.) is definitely worth a visit, as is the many churches in this gorgeous ancient town.

Everything was perfect. Lovely apartment. Central location. Storage for bicycles was a plus. Lovely selection of coffee and stuff. Brilliant find. Large bedroom and large lounge/dining area. Communication was good. Self check-in was easy.

Possibly the most welcoming and charming hosts we have experienced. They could not do enough for us including providing their own tablet so we could watch the Tour de France. The history of the building is fascinating and Gilles and Fabienne have renewed it with love and respect. The staircase is not for people with mobility issues but it is part of the history of the building. Gilles helps you up with the luggage and it is a great part of the experience which by the end of our stay was easy! Make sure to ask Gilles about booking restaurants in advance, he has the connections. Breakfast was amazing with so many options and locally made produce. Absolutely not your standard french coffee and croissant! We would thoroughly recommend staying here to experience a special part of Burgundy.

This little old castle is fully modernised in all the right places, and very attractive inside and out. Our room was exceptionally comfortable with large ensuite. Breakfast was great. The pool was just perfect on a hot afternoon. The hospitality from the owners was thoughtful and and expert. For people on bikes there is a secure lock up. We loved our short stay here.
