Our welcome by Angie when we arrived was fantastic, she and Emily have completely renovated the building and we're so excited to share it with their guests. I can't praise them highly enough. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. If you are close by, you must book this Chambre d'hote. Montrichard is a fabulous town to explore too.

I loved all of it :) We had a room under the roof that was very cozy and clean. It had a wonderful local flare. There was a kettle with coffee/tea supplies, and also a ventilator and a radiator that you could control. No fridge in the room, but we were offered to put anything we needed into the one in the kitchen. The breakfast was great - a buffet offering eggs, a couple of local cheeses, freshly baked baguette, yogurt, lemon cake, and typical French pastries - croissant and pain au chocolat. It takes place on a glassed terrasse, and we really enjoyed the view - the territory looked fantastic, with its greenery, small pond, and a couple of bridges.

Enjoyed the personal touch provided by the hosts, both speak good English, making us breakfast with good coffee & omelette. Also friendly and attentative with our dog, even took her out for a walk while we were away. Great place to stay in the midst of the many touristic highlights in the area.
