We had a lovely short break at La Scierie and couldn't recommend it more. The bed was very comfortable, and the showers and breakfast were great. The hosts are friendly and discreet and did everything possible to make sure we felt welcome.

Wow, one of the best stays we had. View from the room amazing (to town square and church l), room decoration authentic with all needed facilities. Breakfast was good, local products like cheese, bread, spreads. Owner was very helpful, giving advices were to go for dinner.

Fantastic and exceptional service shown by the staff. The rooms are large and each has aircon. The staff also turned it on ahead of us for our arrival which was much appreciated as we were travelling during a heatwave. We were on a cycle tour and travelling on bicycles and the hotel accommodated these well. The restaurant has two menu options - French and Vietnamese. They were both fantastic and I recommend eating at the restaurant when staying there. The breakfast has all options available and for those who are cycling I can also say it is fantastic! Lastly one of our booking party couldn't make it and even though we had pre-paid the rooms, and I never requested a refund, the owner of the hotel insisted on organising the refund and the service he provided was exceptional.

The room was fantastic and had much needed air con. We asked to stay 2 extra nights and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They even moved ours bags for us whilst we were out when we asked to stay the extra nights into an available room. The location is beautiful and parking just across the road. Fantastic experience staying here.

Adam and Phil are the best of hosts. They really go out of their way to accomodate their guests. They even went to get pizza for us. The house is very roomy and has the wonderful atmosphere of an old building, yet all the comforts of a modern one. The room was comfortable and bathroom spic-n-span. Breakfast was abundant and Phil even offered to do eggs for us, but it was ample enough already, with good coffee, juice, fresh fruit, bread, croissants, pain chocolat, the works! Thank you very much guys. This is the first time I've given a 10/10 rating. You deserve it!

    Great location, free parking near to property, but you can park outside the property to unload or load car. Excellent Wifi, always had hot water, shower was great. Rustic much loved home with lots of character.

    excellentplace to stay right in the middle of Quillan, river runs at the back of the property, mountains to the front. host sent very clear instructions, the help was extremely helpful, lots of information on hand. walking from the property is superb. Plenty of hot water, breakfast looked amazing, comfy beds. pet friendly, free parking. whats not to like. weather picked up as the week went on, beautiful sunny days with a slight breeze.

    This is a brilliant rustic guest house. Lovely views with wonderful breakfast. Good sized rooms and excellent showers. Free parking. Quillan is a fabulous place to explore the cathar country. Good recommendations from the helpful host.

    Beautiful, typically French Town house overlooking the River Aude and Place de la Republic. It is in a great location. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice of continental meats, cheese, yoghurts, bread, jam, eggs, and cereal. In fact, anything you can think of, and at a time we wanted. Séverine looked after us very well. The use of the kitchen and fridge is really helpful and to chill out in the living room. Guest rooms are big and very comfortable. Parking nearby, but you can unload the car outside. We would definitely stay again.
