The location was incredible. The lake is beautiful. There are lovely dogs and a very cute goat. The owner was friendly and liked to chat — while some guests might enjoy that, I personally would have preferred a bit more space. The place is clean and tidy.

A beautiful and historic chateau and arboretum with a fabulous host. The room was large and comfortable, the self catering area very useful and we loved exploring the grounds with the collection of trees and plants created by the owner's forebears. The owner and her animals were charming and very helpful.

Jean-Michel is a great host and welcomed us so kindly. The rooms are amazingly done, clean, nicely decorated and very cosy and the bed is super comfortable!     The host was very helpful, friendly and gies above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They are very personal to their guests and talked to us about the town and history of the chateau. Breakfast was big and great choices. Its a very tranquil place to stay and very romantic. It is a safe place to stay nd has an onsite parking.

    Unique, fab bucolic location, opportunity to join other guests for breakfast around a big table or to eat alone outside on the terrace. V quiet at night. Host welcoming, calm, helpful. Good facilities - including ample parking.
