Peaceful stay in very well converted historic ex relais de poste. Friendly hosts, knowledgeable and helpful. Fast, fibre based wifi. Very comfortable beds. Terrific French breakfast (inc home-made yogurt and pains au chocolat!). Private parking, but note only for small car (narrow/angled/steep entrance). Rural location, so quiet - downside is no shops, eating etc in walking distance. No TV - we never watch it anyway - might be a negative for some people?

Stunning location even in December. In the summer, it would be outstanding. Everything was just like the photos. The hottub was wonderful. Highly recommend the dinner we had delivered, so much better than expected. The gardens and lake access were fabulous despite the time of year. Excellent shops near by. Easy enough to find and I lived how welcome our dog was.
