We booked here to see a RWC match. It was perfect for this. We were able to securely leave the car on the premises and walk just 5 minutes to the tram which took us in no time to the stadium and the city centre. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The owner is amazing. When we arrived he made sure we knew how to get to the stadium and showed us nearest restaurants, supermarkets etc. We had a flat car tyre during our stay and he took so much of his own time to help us call the hire company and then the garage. He even presented us with a bottle of beer to help soften the hassle. Certainly the best host we've had anywhere. Can't thank him enough. Thoroughly recommend a stay here, convenient location, spotlessly clean and friendly welcome.

A modern, tastefully renovated manor house. 5 bedrooms. Our room looked out over fields and farms. Peaceful! The manager and the two staff we met were delightful - ready to please. Breakfast was a feast. We took the a la carte evening menu- rather than one of the ‘menus’. The food was exceptional. Wonderful ambiance. The dining room was full; and, as we were the only hotel guests, the diners had obviously come for the dining experience. Truly an evening to remember.

This was the perfect place to stop outside of a city, the chateau was charming and with perfect comfort. I would recommend it 100% for quality/price. It also gives you an interesting experience when deers comes from the forest, sheeps and cows you can see, as well as peacocks! And also a thanks for delicious homemade cheeses from high mountains for breakfast !

We could not have asked for a better host than Yannick and we would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area. From the friendly communication prior to our arrival and Yannick actually coming over to us outside his premise on our arrival with the warmest welcome we knew we had selected the best place for us. He is truly an exceptional host in not only the apartment but also in his restaurant below the apartment. Over the four nights we stayed, we had everything we needed and would have liked to have stayed longer. We even had 3 hot air balloons fly through the valley the first morning of our stay. Yannick made us a beautiful breakfast board to eat in the apartment for our first morning and we enjoyed the next day eating downstairs. The breakfasts were delicious but the lunch at his restaurant was another level above. This is not to mention the friendly locals just across the road at the bakery and convenience store. We were welcomed with friendly smiles everywhere we went. The pastries, baguettes, cheeses and tomatoes were wonderful. The apartment is newly renovated and very comfortable, clean and quiet. Parking is conveniently onsite and close by to Saint Galmier.
