The apartment was perfect for our stay. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Anne Marie was an excellent host and was there to hand over the keys. We had a query about the TV and she came back and sorted it within minutes.the kitchen was fully equipped with tea, coffee etc and even had biscuits in the tin. We couldn’t have had better accommodation.

The pod was absolutely gorgeous - so thoughtfully put together to get the most out of the space and had so much fitted in there. A small but rare thing for these types of places was that the plates, bowls, mugs etc were actually nice and not just bought as cheap as possible. The tv has Netflix and there is also a Dyson hairdryer, and beers and milk were left in the fridge for us. The sauna was AMAZING and ice water and fruit was left outside it for us which was so thoughtful. We also went on a gorgeous walk with amazing views of the Loch just 15-20 minutes from the pods. Brian and Gillian were so kind and welcoming, it was a pleasure to stay there. I couldn’t recommend it more!

The location of the apartment is perfect for anyone coming to Balloch by car as it's very central. There is a spot in a dedicated underground parking as well as plenty of on street parking or within a two min walk there is a large public car park. If you are using public transport, you are positioned less than a 5 min walk from the train station or the bus station. The apartment is also situated at a lovely little bridge where you will find options of different well organised boat tours at a reasonable cost. The apartment is also less than a five minute walk to a park as well as a nice walk along the water. When it comes to the local area you have absolutely everything you need no matter the type of group you are with. If you decide to self cater you have great local shops and large coop supermarket with all that you need including fresh amazing local produce at great prices. You also have all sorts of takeaway shops on offer in the local area. If you prefer to eat out, you have so much choice on offer and many different types of restaurants, pubs, bars and cafes with inside and outside seating suitable for a visit any time of the year all within walking distance. The best part is that you won't want to leave the gorgeous, spacious apartment. Wow! You could not want for more. Christine has created a home away from home and more. The decor and amenities are just what you would hope for in a holiday let. You even have your own large balcony with a bbq. Absolutely everything provided (including milk in the fridge :-) is carefully considered to make your holiday perfect and everything is of high quality, well-maintained and spotless. Everything is well explained around the apartment and if needed Christine offers to be available if from the booking right through to the end of your stay. Christine has very thoughtfully put together a manual to support with information for the apartment and the local area.

    The staff were lovely and friendly. Did their best to fit us in restaurant when it was very busy and we hadn’t booked. Food in restaurant was delicious, we ended up eating there both nights as enjoyed so much. Excellent location, car parking, great room.

    Very convenient location with plenty of free parking around. Despite being a small town, it was busy on a Saturday night with live music in a few places. Would definitely stay here for a quick getaway again.

    Great location with a beautiful park across the road that goes down to the loch. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The room was well presented and very comfortable. Amazing fully-equipped kitchen which was great for making meals. Highly recommend! Just as a note that parking is on street (nearby free car parks only a couple mins walk away), however I was able to get a space directly across the road in front of the convenience store (which has security cameras), so it was no hassle at all

    Booked late after a last minute change of plans and had a lovely night here. Not many rooms so it was quiet, the room was very well presented with a nice view and breakfast was amazing. There was a big car park by the restaurant with no charges for parking.
