The shepherd's hut was really cozy and had everything you need. Also the location is fantastic, woodhenge is only 10mins an foot away. You should plan at least two hours if you want to reach stonehenge itself on foot though, as the area is quite big. Food and drinks can be ordered to the doorstep from the pub.

The room was very clean, spacious, warm and comfortable. The information book was thorough and recommendations for dining out were excellent. Great location. Ample tea, instant coffee and milk, though it would have been amazing had there been a coffee pod machine in addition to the kettle! The pre-packed breakfast, fresh fruit, yoghurts, fruit juice and water were a nice touch, and having a proper fridge was useful too. Check in and out were straightforward and the owner was very friendly. Parking over the weekend was also easy. The property is tucked away, but all of the information provided after booking meant that we found it without any difficulty even in the dark - the outdoor area was well lit. Would definitely recommend Stonehenge Courtyard.

The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and his friendliness made us feel right at home. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even taking the time to answer our unusual questions, such as recommending a nearby farm where we could interact with the animals.
