    The food was very good; the service was very willing. The room was a good size and we were not disturbed by the other two guests - sound did not travel between the rooms. On site parking was convenient.

    We stayed in the John Constable room, a 4 posted bed and views of the Essex countryside, just perfect. We ate in the pub and the food was very good as was the breakfast. Friendly staff and locals and a good range of beers on offer. Ample car parking spaces

    We’ve stayed several times before so it goes without saying we genuinely love it. Lovely views from the bedroom, plenty of parking, warm & welcoming smiles from all the staff & Diana. Fab breakfast, & evening meals & plenty of choice & good range of beers & drinks. Highly recommend & very clean.
