    What a lovely place! Bedroom comfortable, clean and warm. Parking is opposite the pub and free of charge in a small open car park. Fantastic staff, warm, friendly, eager to please, and nothing too difficult. Bustling pub full of locals, and really fabulous food. It was steak night - and we tucked in to a hearty plate of super food. Breakfast was really good: bacon, local eggs were delicious. Fresh fruit and lots of juices. We'd be hard pushed to say anything against it - loved it and will definitely be back!

    Friendly staff. Lovely home cooked meals at the pub if wanted to book a dinner there for evening. Big car park opposite the pub for parking. Lovely breakfast included with the booking. Would stay here again.

    The staff were fantastic, the room was a good size and very comfortable. Food was spot on and plenty of car parking made it a pleasure to stay here. Great location for biking at Cannock Chase.

    The staff were lovely, dinner menu had a very good selection and good value for money. The wine by the glass was lovely. We stayed in the family room which was spacious and very clean and had very good beds. Breakfast had many choices and was cooked perfectly. Free parking outside. Would definitely stay there again if we were in the area

    Great value for money and we upgraded to a large family room with en-suite for just £5 extra. We had an excellent meal in the pub restaurant which again was superb value for money. Very friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast with a large choice all included. Free parking. We were visiting the National Memorial Arboretum the following day which was only 6 miles down the road.
