The location was great, it's not that far from the centre and Ilfracombe is a nice city to visit. We really enjoyed the hotel and the room, everything was clean and practical for a family of 4. Margaret and Nick are great host, they did an amazing breakfast. We requested a cot which was there when we arrived, parking was free, the B&B is nicely decorated.

Our room was upstairs but she took our cases up and brought them down. Lovely view, enjoyed the breakfast room, the sun room and thought the bar was a good touch. Great breakfast variety with delicious local jams and fruit. We had good suggestions about things to see at the Seafront. We found it an excellent base for day trips and enjoyed exploring the town too.

The Varley House is a little outside of town in a quiet neighborhood. Rod is an attentive host and has an outstanding service from the arrival to special requests, as I wanted to send extra luggage home. The shower was grand, the room is spotless and inviting. I'd definitely stay there again and can warmly recommend.

    Bright sunny room, well decorated. Lovely clean shower, with toiletries. Lots of tea and coffee provided. Car park behind the hotel and free on street parking too. Easy walk to the seafront. Friendly owner. Huge choice for breakfast, very well organised and delicious.
