    Lovely old building from outside, plenty of free parking. Plenty of outside seating and kids play area. Bar / restaurant was spacious and tasteful and clean. Room was massive, beds comfortable. Food from the restaurant was absolutely lovely - both dinner and breakfast the next day.

    The food and staff in the restaurant were fantastic and that part of it made the trip, it was also a great location as we were doing a running event 30 minutes away on the sunday morning. Free parking on site was also a bonus

    There's lots of free parking on site, which is unusual these days. The room was a good size and has a nice feel to it, and the bathroom is clean and looks recently updated. Breakfast was good value and the selection of fresh fruit on the buffet was better than provided by many more expensive places. Overall the hotel wasn't expensive, and we felt we got good value for money
