Beautifully renovated cottage, done to a high standard, with a lovely shower room & bath robes. Very clean & comfy. The homemade shortbread biscuits were lovely, thank you. Easy to find and ample parking outside. Great central location for County Durham, & can recommend a trip to Locomotive, just a mile down the road. This is not a small hotel, it is very large and accommodates lots of guests and has lots of functions. It was fine for me, still very peaceful and quite. Access to the spa and swimming pool a bonus.
