    The White House is in a lovely location with nice views and ample parking. The hotel was very modern and beautifully decorated throughout. Our room was spacious with a large en-suite and a fantastic powerful shower! Very large comfy bed with quiet surroundings we had 2 peaceful nights sleep. Large selection of breakfast items, freshly cooked to order.

    It’s much bigger than we were expecting - the photos don’t do it justice. Had everything you need for a weekend get away, including cookies 😊. A well equipped kitchen (but could use more cutlery), modern decor and a garden. A huge sofa, large dining table and Wi-Fi, along with Netflix and Prime on the TV. Easy parking on the road outside the house. Comfy enough bed and two bathrooms.

    Really easy to locate the staff They are very pleasant and helpful first class breakfast facilities are spot on The only downside is that parking can be a slight problem but overall I would come back again.

    Exactly as it looks on website: spotless and spacious. Staff are helpful and conscientious at check-in. Heated towel rail. Quality toiletries, quality hospitality tray. Passable Chinese takeaway next door, free parking in forecourt. Fridge in rm w bottled water supplied.

    This hotel is exceptional. From the immaculate rooms to the brilliant staff we really couldn't fault it. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were spot on. Easy parking and location to all areas of interest make this a great location with access to all major routes. A wonderful stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again .

    This is a guest house above a pub. We had a large double bed which could be made into a twin which was super comfy. The room was a good size with a decent size bathroom with a shower. There is parking outside the pub and the guesthouse is about 20 minutes drive from Sunderland Stadium of light. The local area is lovely with the coast only a short drive away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

    Huge bed, huge, luxury shower room. Off street parking was a bonus. Perfectly cooked breakfast in spotlessly clean facilities. Really nice place to stay; hosts were especially nice and would highly recommend. Will rebook this year
