The place, Portmahomack, is a nice place, a little jewel full of peace and romantic.There is A long beach and a little Pier and cristalline water. And the castle hotel is just in front of the beach.Fantastic!

High quality experience, highest standards, beautiful decor wonderful ambience. The Glenmorangie House experience and stay is nothing short of exceptional in every aspect. We were absolutely enthralled by our visit and would highly recommend this venue. The tasting dinner in a carefully created setting was beyond stunning we enjoyed whisky tasting coastal walks and a fabulous Scottish breaks too. Finlay and the staff were superb. There can be no higher accolades in Scotland than those deserved by Glenmorangie House.

The hostess, Kim, was very kind and welcoming. Straight away she made us feel good. The room was spacious, clean and seemed recently renovated. The bed was very comfortable, the room was warm and the shower/bathroom was clean and had everything you could possibly need.

    Under new ownership since my last stay, everything was at least as good if not better than before. My room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was superb and the evening meal was equally superb. Hannah was a superb host and had the time to make my stay very pleasant indeed. For those doing the NC500, the parking is secure for both classic cars and motorcycles. Hope to stay again soon.

    Location was close to where we wanted to visit, quiet, amazing views, well furnished, lots of mod cons eg sky/WiFi, had all you needed and more, own parking foe the cottage for atleast 3 cars, own private garden with outside searing there was board games and entertainment things if needed but we didn't use those.
