    Easy to find and great parking. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who showed us to our room. The decor throughout the building was beautifully designed. Simplistic, good quality furniture and very comfortable. We had an evening meal which was delicious as was the breakfast in the morning. All the staff were extremely friendly.

    This property exceeded all of our expectations, We booked a family room with an ensuite. The room and ensuite were very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On site parking was an added convenience. Breakfast was great - it was certainly more than we expected.

    Location is spectacular looking over the Cumbria fells. Breakfast was superb. Wonderfully cooked fresh by chef! Good car parking and fantastic dinner. Good selection of Gluten free - fish and chips we perfect

    Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Rooms were clean, the bar offered excellent meals and the breakfast was fantastic. Car parking at the back was a bonus. Really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend staying here or having an evening meal.

    We had a lovely stay at The Greyhound Hotel -the room was cosy and very clean, and the included breakfast was amazing. The location is a perfect jumping-off point for exploring the Lake District and there is free parking onsite. The bar downstairs is great, with a fireplace and a good selection of gin and whisky. The owners are so kind and helpful - they even made us some sandwiches on the first evening as we arrived a little too late to find food in Shap. Thank you for a fab stay!

    I really liked the atmosphere and the interior of the hotel. We stayed in room 4 and its size was great. The bed was comfortable. Kettle for tea, coffee, hot chocolate in the room. I could control the temperature of the radiator and wasn’t cold at night. Friendliness of the staff, adequate car parking for free. Hairdryer available in the room. TV well positioned on the wall. Was a pleasant experience and would return again.
