Lovely old hotel but what really made it “grand” was the staff. It is very well staffed so that there was ALWAYS someone to meet any need. Whether in the dining room or attending to our room, they could not do enough for us! And the breakfast was amazing!

We‘ve got a room on the second floor with an incredible see view. It was an upgrade and we absolutely loved it. Make sure to book a room with the see view and not the one overlooking the country yard and the golf club. The location is really great, outside the touristic area, peaceful and quiet. The hotel is a bit old style but the service is really great. We liked the pool and the garden. The parking area around the hotel is free for guests which is a big plus if you travelling with a car.

A very old fashioned Hotel, a lot of small details showing how much they care! Very kind personal there and the owners lovely and helpful! I booked a double room but forgot to mention I am with my daughter - no problem for them, they just welcomed her! Very quiet place too, we slept lovely! And the breakfast was fantastic.

A really great place to stay. The staff was amazing. The front desk people helped me with alot of logistics for my travels, they were so patient and supportive, I wish every hotel were like that! The pool is nice, if weather allows. Location is great, fifteen minutes to the port. The rooms facing the back are quieter.

    Fantastic views of the sea and lake, which is great for bird watching. Milk and tea bags already in the kitchen. Great cafe just behind with excellent food. Quiet at night. Easy parking.
