    Great location for Newark showground events. Great big familiy room (blacksmiths), with 2 x doubles & 2 x single beds. Good beer and food, fantastic breakfast. Staff were Great, friendly and a nice traditional pub. Car park, beer garden with kids area. (We didnt use that being 4 x 60-somethings. Very good price.

    Set minutes off the A1 in a charming little village. Perfect for a stopover when driving. Car parking right outside my accommodation. Lovely pub with very friendly and helpful staff. As a solo femdle traveller was put at ease immediately. Room was great size and bed was amazingly comfortable....perfect after a long days driving. Perfect to unwind.

    The rooms are spacious, bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water. Pub grub was freshly made, good selection of beers on tap. Off street car parking. Not too far of the A1, so great for stopover.
