I had a fantastic stay at The Stromness Hotel. The hospitality was outstanding, and the staff were warm and welcoming, especially Scott and Wendy, who were always ready to help with local tips and recommendations. They truly made me feel at home. The room was spotless and comfortable, with beautiful views of the harbor and surrounding landscape. Breakfast was excellent, and the location is ideal, just a short walk from the ferry terminal, local shops, and the Stromness Museum. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Stromness!

Thank you to Albert and Aileen for a wonderful stay at Grainbank Mews. The room was beautiful and sparkling clean, with a delicious breakfast prepared for us each morning. Great location, just outside Kirkwall and a couple minutes' drive to all the shops and restaurants. We were really curious about life on Orkney, and Albert was very kind and informative, even pointing us in the direction of the 'Orkney Dictionary' (which I bought!) This place is a treasure and we would love to stay again the next time we are in town.

What a brilliant place to stay whilst visiting the Orkneys. Our room was spacious and well decked out with everything you need for a stay. The bed was comfortable and bathroom spotless. Fantastic stay here, the perfect place to explore Orkney from. Dorothy was wonderful and ensured everything was well organised, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic after exploring outdoors on the colder, windier days. A short drive to Kirkwall township in a quiet setting. Highly recommended!

Karrawa is a lovely home with a very comfortable guest room and an exquisitely appointed en-suite. Everything was so clean and Fyona was quite friendly snd welcoming. Our cooked breakfast was delicious. I wish we had been able to spend more time there.
