Very friendly staff, always willing to help. Excellent location and facilities. Best accommodation in Lerwick. Game room with pool, TV room, dinning room, massive kitchen and even lift. Our room has a TV and a kettle, an amazing shower with very good water pressure. To my surprise our room was even serviced each day. Fantastic place.

Gilda the host was fantastic, the property is stunning, the kitchen has really good quality utensils. sitting in the house looking out over the North sea with the wind blowing and snow coming down, whilst in the warmth of a lovely home was priceless. Its my wife's perfect environment and she did not want to leave!! Gilda the host was great, we actually got our car stuck in the snow at the bottom of the hill, we were supposed to leave at 10am but Gilda had already called us to see that we were ok with the snow that had come down, and she said no need to rush out the following day as there were no tenants due, this took off great pressure as we stayed util around 5pm had dinner at the property and then headed for a slow snowy drive to Lerwick to pick up our 7pm crossing on the boat.

Spotlessly clean, well-appointed apartment in a great location. We appreciated the welcome pack of bread, butters, eggs, milk, and tea cakes. How lovely to arrive to that. Fresh flowers on the table too. Washing machine was very handy. We walked into town several times. A nice quiet neighbourhood and the apartment overlooks a green space sporting field. Best apartment we stayed in during our 4 week trip through Scotland. Highly recommended!

What a fantastic stay! Hotel is in a great location, rooms are extremely comfortable and reasonably priced! Meals are locally sourced and super tasty! Staff are great but the star of the show was a chap called Scott! His service was impeccable! So polite, always smiling and so handsome! A true gentleman.! A fantastic breakfast chef ( makes delicious scrambled eggs!!) breakfast was a great atmosphere listening to him singing away, what a voice!! , a real home from home! His service in the restaurant in the evenings was just the same, being so kind and attentive to everybody no matter how busy he was. And then to see him throughout the day attending to guests, cleaning, even weeding the hotel grounds! A fantastic all rounder and a true credit to the hotel. I will definitely be returning to the Brae hotel! A real hidden gem! Well done Scott and Curtis

I didn't see anyone at all when I stayed but everything very clearly communicated. Really lovely room with nice sofa and big plasma TV. Luxury bathroom. Breakfast hamper was fabulous with lots of lovely things to nibble! Overall brilliant value for money and would definitely stay again.
