The hotel room itself was beautiful and with good facilities, and with a particularly amazing view! Great spot to watch the sunset. The location is good, on the coast and near the old town in a quieter spot of Rethymno. No more than a 10-15 minute stroll to anything you need. The staff are exceptional - Stelios, the proprietor, could not do enough to help. We checked in quite late as my girlfriend was ill on our arrival and he could not have been better. Andreas on the pool bar is incredible too - he cannot do enough for you. An amazing stay and we would love to come back!

Made of Blue is in a beautiful place surrounded by nature, with a lovely garden that’s perfect for children. Our children couldn’t have had more fun! They spent hours in the pool, and there’s even a bio garden where the family grow their own vegetables, which they kindly invited us to help ourselves from. What really made the stay special were Aga and Minos and their wonderful children, so warm and welcoming, and they even organised a pizza dinner for all the guests. We felt completely looked after from start to finish. Highly recommended, and if we’re ever back in Crete, we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for everything!

Loved this hotel! I have spent 10 days there and everyone was so kind and helpful about everything! The location of the hotel is very good and quiet and yet you can easily go in the city center for 5 minutes. I would recommend going to Rethimno and The City Hotel & Suites if you want to have wonderful vacation!
