Absolutely beautiful place to stay, most beautiful room that i have ever been. Really nice decor, good bed and pillows for good sleep, good air conditioner, good mini bar, just they have thought of everything. l had seaside room, most beautiful sea ​​view all over Pothia. So i enjoyed every minute staying Spongia Apartment. Staff and owners, couldn’t be more helpful. When i checked out, they drive me back to city because i had my suitcase. Thank you so much for everything.

When you visit the Archontiko Hotel Kalymnos, it is hard to even think about going to another island. Kalymnos itself is a hidden treasure of hospitality, tradition, and vibrancy. Everywhere you go, you hear melodies, you see groups of young people laughing, dancing, and enjoying life. The island reveals its character through its history: the island of captains, the world’s climbing capital, the island of sponge divers and elegant mansions. To truly experience this authenticity, we chose the Archontiko Hotel Kalymnos and we never regretted it. The hospitality we received was warm, genuine, and deeply touching. The official owner of this historic building welcomed us personally and guided us through the story of the hotel. Through old photographs and his narration, we traveled back in time, learning about the full restoration that was completed just two months ago. It was a unique experience of traditional hospitality, blending the charm of the past with the comforts of today. One of the greatest advantages of Archontiko Hotel Kalymnos is its location: only a 3-minute walk from the port, you step off the ferry and within minutes you are in your room. In just one minute, you are in the heart of the island’s nightlife with cafés, bars, and restaurants. The local market is right there too – fresh fruits, traditional shops, even the daily catch from the fishing boats, ready to be enjoyed with ouzo at a seaside taverna. And yet, despite being so close to the vibrant life of the town, the hotel offers peace and tranquility, standing right by the sea. It is a rare contrast – having everything at your doorstep, while still enjoying serenity and beautiful sea views. This is the exact experience we had, and we recommend it wholeheartedly.

Amazing little room right across from the ferry docks. We received detailed instructions of the self check in process the night before in the form of photos and a video that were so helpful and made the process seamless. The host also came to check that we got in ok. The room is small but so well equipped and perfect for our stop over in Pothia. The bed was super comfy and very big. The fridge had a cold bottle of water each in it. There was a coffee machine and a kettle with tea, coffee and pods provided and biscuits!! The bathroom also had shampoo, conditioner and soap. We will definitely be staying again.

It was comfy and felt like home. Full kitchen with full amenities including a washing machine.. BONUS!! Completely stocked with necessities. Easy to keep organised and tidy. The beds were comfy as well. It was great! Walking distance to Pothia, supermarket around the corner and the port with all the restaurants and cafes were a 8 Min walk. Loved it will definitely be back!!

    Anna was in touch regularly, giving us time & location to meet her for the keys and a show around her property. The house is traditional Greek with a modern twist. It's an old house with a beautiful extension added and tastefully decorated. It's quite rural, so no bar music to contend with, just relaxation in piece & quiet. You'll need a car to get around, the property has a gated drive & parking. We also loved being able to cook on the outside gas burners... before eating & drinking into the evening.

    Great location and an awesome villa, located at the heart of Mirties. The rooms were great and the kitchen had everything you need. You also have access to a cute beach from the back of the villa. Restaurants and cafe minutes away and so is the supermarket. There is also parking at the back of the house. The host was super nice and accommodating, answered all our queries promptly and left us very nice food on arrival. Highly recommended!
