Our stay was absolutely exceptional! The accommodation had everything we needed — nothing was missing. The hosts were truly wonderful, warm, and welcoming. The beach nearby was also a highlight: clean, peaceful, and never crowded. The gentle slope into the water made it perfect for relaxing swims, and there were shaded areas available during peak sun hours. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

The accommodation is in a nice location right next to the sea. There are easily accessible beaches to the north and south, which are very enjoyable. The accommodation was well equipped and the cleanliness was good. You can hear the sea at night, super :) A few minutes walk to a small shop. If we can, we will definitely return.

Where do I start. The owners were very nice and kind. The place we rented was clean and cozy with a great view of the sea. The sea was about 25 meters from the house and you don't need a car to get to the beach. The beach was lovely and one of the few soft and fluffy sandy beaches on the Greek sea that I have been to. There are also many taverns and shops around where you will find everything you need.

Hotel Sylvia is in a wonderful position, in a garden of olive trees between mountains and a stone/sandy beach. It is quiet and during the night it is possible to hear the sound of the waves (depending on the room position). The rooms are simple, clean, with fridge, A/C (never used at the end of August), mosquito net, possibly a balcon with small table and chairs, daily cleaning and change of towels and sheets every 3 days. It is possible to have breakfast, salted and sweet, with fresh season fruit, homemade cakes, Greek yogurt, eggs/omelettes, feta cheese, toasts, olives (original from Thassos) and whatever one might wish. There is a swimming pool with sunbeds, and sunbeds are also in the garden a few meters far away from the beach. There's a large common terrace and a lot of common places where to sit, read, relax, and chat. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly, I'd say familiar, with Yianna and Giorgios providing everything from the beginning to the end of the stay. I personally appreciated the sunrises from my window, the sound of the sea, the garden, the silence, the general atmosphere, the chats with Yianna and Giorgios, the Yianna's apple- and plum-cakes (wow!).

The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms were beautifully furnished, but what truly made our stay exceptional was Eleni. Her attentiveness went beyond typical service; she provided thoughtful beach suggestions, secured reservations at top dining spots, and even managed unexpected requests if we needed something for our kids. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. The hotel itself is fantastic—new, modern, and incredibly comfortable. Located just a short 2-minute walk from the golden beach, it offers convenient access to beach chairs and umbrellas. The sea was clean and inviting. The surrounding area, with its lush greenery and a nearby horse farm, added to the serene atmosphere. For anyone visiting the golden beach area, this hotel is a top choice.     It was my first time on Thassos and it was a great experience. Location in perfect for an east coast if you come with a car. Its in the middle so in 15min you can visit every beach and other stuff. The house is really clean (there is a cleaning lady that comes every third day and cleans and changes everything. Free parking in a shadow as well. Its a perfect stay for a family!

    The property is very nice, sea views, nice pool, beautiful lawn with lounge chairs. The room is clean, with a balcony with sea views. There is a private parking lot, which is nice. It's minutes walk away from a beach, unfortunately, it's a rocky pebble beach, not good for sunbathing, or if you don't have water shoes.
